Teaching has been my passion for the entirety of my career. After qualifying and spending 20+ years teaching children in many different settings including the UK and Internationally, I fulfilled my dream to not only inspire and make a difference to children but to the whole school, as I became a Primary Headteacher. Everyday I was inspired by the children and the staff in my school.

2020 is a year that changed all our lives. We were forced to adapt to new ways  of  teaching and learning. During this time, so much was learnt from each other and children’s learning experiences changed. Seeing children thrive in this new way of learning online was something that influenced me to set up The Tutor Online.

Those normally shy children in the classroom, became more confident in a more discreet setting. Children gained independent technical skills which empowered and motivated them to progress further. My passion is to inspire the next generation of children; I love passing on my knowledge and passion for learning. Every child learns differently, and this experience allows me to tailor my teaching to each child. I am a professional and conscientious tutor who will go above and beyond to make sure that your child not only excels but gains a love for learning.

Confidence is key when it comes to learning. My team pride themselves in creating nurturing, safe spaces when we tutor online, where children feel comfortable to make mistakes and ask the questions that they may feel reluctant to in a classroom setting. After all, there is no such thing as mistakes, only lessons to be learnt!
